Before cutting a single part, the machine is tested in the computer. Two families of methods work together.
FEM: will the parts hold?
The finite element method splits each part into thousands of small elements and computes how they deform under load. It gives stresses, safety margins and weak points, and the shape is then corrected.
SPH: water in motion
SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) represents water as millions of particles obeying the laws of fluid mechanics. It naturally follows breaking waves and moving floating bodies. We use the open-source code DualSPHysics.
Every result has a status
Each published result carries its status: computed, assumption or confirmed by testing. A computation does not replace a basin test; it prepares it.
